Remember - James Vander Woude
• Series: Seasons in the Psalms
This week, James spoke about the importance of remembering who God is: that justice is the foundation of God's rule, that God has set a time when he will judge the living and the dead, and that God is totally good and trustworthy. One of the ways we can remember God's goodness and steadfast love is to "recount" the good things that God has done for us. Take some time this week to go around the room and have people tell stories of how God has come through for them in the past. It is encourage for all of us to hear how God has worked in our lives, particularly in the most difficult times. SCRIPTURE Read Luke 7:11-19 together in a few different translations. Then, close your Bibles and tell the story to each other, helping to fill in the gaps. QUESTIONS 1. What does this story tell us about God? 2. What does this story tell us about people (us)? 3. What are practical ways that we can give praise and glory to God? Spend some time in the evening worshipping God for all that He has done for us.
