Rhys spoke about the adventure of faith that we walk when it comes to finance: that 1. we discover God's bountiful provision, that 2. we discover that our security isn't in our salaries, our savings, our retirement savings, but in the love of God for us, and that 3. We partner together with God and with one another in our church family on the adventure Take a slow read through Luke 12:22-31 together, and answer this question: what are the implications for your personal finances when you consider this passage? Then read through 2 Cor 8:1-7 slowly together: - What strikes you from this passage? - What does it look like to you to be caught up in partnership with the church financially? We prayed for people needing faith to believe God in their finances on Sunday. Is there anyone here who would like to be prayed for with regard to this?
